Read-read-read!
- Read for 20 minutes everyday at home come rain or shine. This will help struggling readers the very best.
Materials that your student brings home weekly include:
paper stories that focus on specific sounds and sound spellings covered in class, high frequency word cards, (on colored paper and in a zip lock baggie.) Making word activities, (also in a zip lock baggie.) Students can re-read all stories, manipulate letters for making words, and practice writing using words for complete sentences.
